The Association of Indonesia Automotive Industries (GAIKINDO) is Indonesia’s prime organization in the automotive sector that comprises of companies / brand holder agents, including producers, distributors and manufacturers. Established since 1969, the organization has contribute to major roles both domestically and internationally. Domestically, GAIKINDO liaise with the government in relation with policies regarding the automotive industry, includes trade, energy, tax, safety standards, the use of technology and environment concerns. In global role, GAIKINDO is a partner of the automotive industry associations in various countries.
GAIKINDO also promotes the national automotive industry through cooperation and communication with stakeholders with domestic and international partners. The organization also enhance the domestic automotive industry and automobile market through annual international exhibition and conference.
